Another great day and big win for the Panama City area !
On Thursday, February 14th 2008 a U.S. District Court judge again denied the airport opponents’ attempts to halt construction at the new Panama City – Bay County International Airport!
Airport Authority Chairman Joe Tannehill said construction was proceeding unrestricted, in accordance with our permits, and on schedule. Read more here.
The new Panama City International airport is being built on a 4,000-acre site in northwestern Bay County on land that was donated by The St. Joe Company.
With construction again underway, the expected opening of the new airport in 2010 is back on schedule and the future is once again bright for our communities economy and prosperity!
